Team Bravo Company from South Africa recently won the 4th event of the Gauteng Bushball Series held at Paintball City in South Africa. Len Nery from Bravo
Company gave us a report of the event.
“The tournament attracted 12 teams comprising of seven playing members with two reserve players and was run using a round robin into single elimination format.
Thanks to the accuracy of our DYE Assault Matrix (DAM) markers, we didn’t lose a single game throughout the day and we rounded it off with a resounding 7 – 0
victory over our closest rivals in the finals equating to an emphatic overall win!
During the prize giving ceremony it was announced that Bravo Company broke two field records and won the prize for the two fastest games of the day by eliminating all seven of the opposing team in a time of 1 minute 40 seconds on the Village Field and 2 minutes 20 seconds on the Castle Field.
Paintball City Germiston and its staff provided the perfect platform for another outstanding tournament at a world class venue and it seems fitting that Bravo Company reached an important milestone at this event by coming the first team to win every tournament entered during 2013 in addition to securing first place overall in two league events (the Gauteng Bushball Series and the Tactical Paintball Series) within the first half of the year.
The enormous growth of this sport has seen more and more tournaments being held to cater for all the tactical bush teams and this has translated into two recognized series events each attracting up to 16 teams per event. In addition, there will be a South African Cup final for all qualifying teams to determine the best Tactical Bushball team in South Africa. The event will be held during the first week of December 2013 at Gariep Dam situated in the centre of South Africa.
Using our Dye Assault Matix markers, Bravo company aim to step onto the top step of that podium!”
